We are delighted to celebrate a successful results day at King Edward VI School, Lichfield, as our students collected their GCSE and vocational course grades on 20th August.

Students and staff gathered at school from 9.00am to mark the culmination of years of hard work and the beginning of their next steps into sixth form, further education and apprenticeships. There were lots of smiles and excitement as our students received their results and celebrated their achievements with friends, families and staff.

We are incredibly proud of the commitment, resilience and progress our students have demonstrated throughout their studies. Our learners have worked hard across a wide range of subjects, and it was wonderful to see them receive the results they have worked so diligently to achieve.

Headteacher Catharine Forster said:

We are incredibly proud of our students for their commitment and hard work. We are delighted that many of our students will be remaining with us in our sixth form, and we are also looking forward to hearing about the next steps of those progressing to colleges and apprenticeships.

We were particularly pleased to celebrate successes across both academic and vocational pathways. These achievements reflect the strength and breadth of our curriculum and our commitment to supporting students with different strengths, interests and future career ambitions.

We would also like to recognise the important contribution of our teachers, support staff and parents and carers, whose encouragement and guidance have helped our students develop the knowledge, study skills and confidence they need for their next steps.

Results day was also an opportunity for us to reflect on the personal growth of our students during their time at King Edward VI School. We have seen them develop into exceptional young people, and it was a pleasure to share in their pride as they collected their results.

Students have worked hard across a number of different subjects and we have seen them grow into exceptional young people. To see them receive these results is a pleasure, and we are immensely proud of everything they have achieved.

We look forward to supporting all our students as they move on to the next stage of their education and training, whether they are returning to King Edward VI School for sixth-form study, progressing to further education or beginning an apprenticeship.

We wish all of our students every success and happiness in their future endeavours.
