Our students are celebrating after the Young Enterprise team, ForeverWrap, achieved outstanding success at the Staffordshire Showcase earlier this month.

ForeverWrap is a student‑run company founded by pupils at King Edward VI School, Lichfield, through the Young Enterprise programme. The initiative gives young people the chance to create and manage their own business, helping them develop entrepreneurial, financial, and teamwork skills through real‑world experience.

Celebrating a Huge Win

The team enjoyed an unforgettable day, taking home five awards:

  • Sustainability Award
  • Sales and Marketing Award
  • Best Presentation Award
  • Finalist
  • Company of the Year – WINNER

Winning Company of the Year was a huge moment for the students and reflects the creativity, hard work, and teamwork behind the business.

About ForeverWrap

ForeverWrap produces reusable fabric gift wrap designed to be used again and again as a sustainable alternative to single‑use wrapping paper.

Each wrap is:

  • Made from 100% cotton deadstock fabric sourced from a UK supplier
  • Stitched with thread made from recycled PET bottles
  • Designed with built‑in ribbons, removing the need for tape or scissors
Sizes and prices:
  • Small – £5
  • Medium – £7
  • Large – £10

The wraps fold flat, are highly durable, and can be reused hundreds of times.

International and Local Success

ForeverWrap has also recently expanded its reach internationally through a collaboration and product exchange with Shampure, a business based in Brussels. The partnership marks an exciting opportunity for the team to share ideas, develop international connections, and showcase their products beyond the UK.

In addition to competition success, ForeverWrap has continued to grow its local presence through media coverage and community engagement. The business was recently featured in the Lichfield Live newsletter, and three members of the team recently appeared on Lichfield Radio to discuss the business, its sustainability mission, and their experience within the Young Enterprise programme.

ForeverWrap has also recently launched an online Trade Station through the Young Enterprise website, allowing customers to purchase products online and helping the business reach a wider audience beyond local events and markets.

These achievements represent an exciting stage in ForeverWrap’s journey, with the team continuing to develop the business and promote sustainable alternatives within both the local community and beyond through the Young Enterprise programme.

What’s Next?

ForeverWrap is looking forward to building on this momentum, reaching more customers, promoting sustainable gifting, and progressing towards the Young Enterprise Finals on 20th May 2026 at DeMontford University, Leicester.
