Talula, a Year 10 student from King Edward VI School, Lichfield travelled to Florida in April 2025 with her cheerleading team 'Lady Ops' from 'Coventry Dynamite' to compete in the All Star World Championship and brought home the Gold!

Talula has been competing since the age of 8, she is a flyer on the Lady Ops Team, which means she is one of the athletes who gets thrown into the air.

Lady Ops girls, an Under 19s cheerleading team from Coventry Dynamite performed beautifully. Day one was a battle round where they won first place to advance into the final in a fantastic position.

Day two was the final and the girls performed fantastically, hitting zero, which, in the cheerleading world, means a perfect run through with zero mistakes. They again won first place, won the Gold and became World Champions of the Under 19 Level 1 X-small Group.

The whole team have worked incredibly hard all season to fulfil their dreams and are extremely excited for their next chapter. Well done to Talula for this fantastic achievement.
