Receptionist / Administrative Support Assistant

We are seeking a full-time Receptionist/Administrative Support Assistant to start as soon as possible.
The role will involve support for the school’s general administration including reception duties, and other key functions such as Groupcall, our home-school communication. There are two busy receptions in school and we anticipate the postholder being based in our main visitor reception. This role will involve some first-aid duties and the successful candidate should be willing to undertake any necessary training.
The successful candidate will have excellent administrative skills, IT skills and be highly efficient and organised. Whilst experience in a school is not essential, we are looking for someone who is used to operating IT systems in a front of house setting. The post requires you to be able to deal sensitively with a variety of situations with students, staff, parents and external organisations. An ability to remain calm in stressful situations and a flexible approach with highly accurate written communication skills are essential.
The hours of work are 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday – Friday, with a 4.00pm finish on Friday.
Lead Teacher for the School Learning Hub

Following a review of our Learning Support Department, we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, committed and talented teacher to lead and manage our learning hub resource. The successful candidate will be an excellent practitioner with a proven track record of inclusive classroom practice.
The Learning Hub is a base in school utilised for a variety of reasons to support students integrate into school life. Students are generally placed in the learning hub for a short term placement, the reasons have included: students with an injury which prevents them from accessing the curriculum, students with significant language barriers to accessing a full curriculum, or for students where an adapted curriculum in a small group environment will support their emotional or learning needs. The learning hub is staffed full time by a member of our learning support team; this role is to have oversight of the provision and to develop the provision moving forward.
We are looking for an emerging leader with a pro-active approach, excellent communication skills and a passion for supporting young people. The role is varied and will require the versatility to work with all stakeholders, developing and maintaining positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents and external agencies.
Candidates will contribute to teaching within their subject area, with time made available to lead and manage the learning hub.

The successful candidates will be excellent practitioners with a proven track record of inclusive classroom practice and the ability to model good practice to other staff.
We are looking for an emerging leader with a pro-active approach, excellent communication skills and a passion for supporting young people with additional needs. The role is varied and will require the versatility to work with all stakeholders, developing and maintaining positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents and external agencies.
Candidates will contribute to teaching across the school, with time made available to carry out their duties as assistant Senco.
Lunchtime Supervisors
Required by: Immediately
Salary: Grade 2 – £24,027 per annum – pro rata. Actual starting salary £12.45 per hour
Contract term: Permanent/Part Time/Term Time Only
We are seeking to appoint reliable, flexible Lunchtime Supervisors to work within a friendly, supportive and well established team. Duties to include supervising students during lunchtimes in the dining areas and surrounding school grounds both inside and out. Applicants should be able to relate well to children, young adults and staff, act responsibly and be able to keep calm and respond quickly to situations.
