U19 Regionals Netball

A huge well done to the entire U19 Netball Squad, who represented the school superbly at the Regional Tournament on Sunday 1 February. Whether competing on court or supporting the team through injury, every player played an important role in the day.

The squad recorded three impressive wins and produced some outstanding netball throughout the tournament. Despite leading at half time, we were unlucky not to convert against Wrekin, and also faced a challenging loss to RGS Worcester. This led to a very tight overall finish, with the teams placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th all recording three wins and two losses.

It was a fantastic day, shared with an amazing group of students, parents and staff. Thank you to everyone who supported the team.

A special shout-out goes to our Year 13 players, for whom this marked their final Regional tournament. Competing at Regionals four times out of a possible five is an incredible achievement—particularly with the pandemic preventing participation back in Year 8.

We are extremely proud of you all.
