This year’s Summer Festival was nothing short of extraordinary, with over 300 students coming together to showcase their incredible talents in what has become our biggest Summer Festival so far! The evening was alive with energy, creativity, and community spirit, unfolding across three vibrant stages.

From the moment the festival kicked off, parents, carers, families and fellow students were treated to a dazzling array of performances spanning music, dance, and drama. Each stage - Bader, Studio and Gazebo - offered a unique atmosphere, allowing students to shine in a diverse range of styles and genres.

Incredible Art Galleries

Beyond the stages, families were invited to explore stunning art galleries featuring our students’ finest works including WEE Man inspired sculptures, recycled materials and community houses as well as our  A Level students final design pieces. These galleries offered a perfect space to admire the artistic talents cultivated throughout the year.

Activity Zones

Some of the festival’s highlights was the impressive Air Compressor Rockets presented by the Design and Technology department, as well as the Gaming Zone in the Canteen from the ICT department - this was a very popular destination with multiple screens and games taking place at once. The Literacy Corner featured Spy Gadgets designed by our students, and the Henna Station was a hit with fellow students. These exciting exhibits brought science and engineering to life in a fun and interactive way, sparking curiosity and inspiring future innovators.

A Huge Thank You

None of this would have been possible without the tireless efforts of the dedicated students, staff, volunteers and the marvelous PTA for supplying the BBQ as well as cake and sweet stalls and other refreshments throughout the evening. A huge thank you goes out to every single person who helped make the festival a huge success.

Perfect Weather

Adding to the magic was the beautiful weather — clear skies and warm sunshine provided an ideal backdrop, encouraging everyone to relax, explore, and celebrate together outdoors.

Mr Willey, Head of Music said:

The success of the Summer Festival is an incredible testament to the students hard work and commitment over the past few weeks. All the activities and performances across the festival were phenomenal and they should all be proud to feature across the three stages. We look forward to seeing them perform at other events in the future - well done everyone!
