Welcome to King Edward VI School, Lichfield – a large, high performing and inclusive secondary school with a thriving Sixth Form. As the Headteacher, I am proud to introduce our school and share our vision for the education and development of our students.

Our Vision and Values

At the heart of our school are three core values that guide everything we do:

Wellbeing - We want all members of our community to feel that they belong and are valued.

Collaboration - We work together as a team to achieve our shared ambitions and support one another in reaching our full potential.

Aspiration - We challenge ourselves to strive for excellence in all aspects of school life, both academic and extracurricular.

Providing a Supportive and Challenging Environment

Our experienced, subject-specialist teaching staff, along with our highly skilled support staff are dedicated to delivering a broad and balanced curriculum that meets the needs of all our students. We have high expectations of both our students and our staff, and we believe that success comes from working together to provide the right balance of support and challenge.

Celebrating Our Achievements

We are proud of the many achievements of our students, both in the classroom and beyond. Whether it’s academic success, sporting triumphs, or outstanding contributions to the local community, we celebrate the diverse talents and accomplishments of all our young people.

Being Part of Our Community

We warmly welcome people in our school community. By working together, we can ensure that evert student has the opportunity to reach their full potential and develop into confident, well-rounded individuals, ready to make a positive impact on the world. We believe that King Edward VI School can be the perfect place for all members of the community to thrive.
