We are seeking a positive, proactive Learning Support Assistant to provide support for our students. This is a permanent, term-time only post (30 hours per week, Monday to Friday currently from 8.45am-3.30pm with 45 minutes for lunch) available immediately through the school’s highly successful Learning Support Department. The role will involve supporting students in classrooms and at times working with individuals or small groups in our Learning Support hub. Part-time applications from suitable candidates will be considered although a commitment to the full working school day is essential. The Salary Scale is the Local Authority’s Grade 5 (Pupil Support Assistant) £20,043 – £21,269 per annum – pro rata.

We are looking for a pro-active Pastoral Support Assistant with strong communication skills to provide day-to-day support for our students. Working alongside Achievement Leaders, and the Inclusion Manager you will promote positive learning attitudes and inclusion; liaise with parents and staff; and carry out a range of duties to support our students’ social, emotional and academic needs. The role will be linked to key year groups but there will be opportunities to work with students across the school. This enhanced role is available to candidates with direct, recent experience of working with young people in an education setting. Working hours will be 8.30am-4.30pm (4pm on a Friday) with a 30 minute lunch break.
