The Diphtheria Tetanus & Polio Booster innoculations are due to take place on Wednesday 10th February 2010. 

This will involve all Year 10 students and a few from years 9, 11 & 12 who were missed out previously.

A list of times will be in the registers by the end of the week.

For those students that are on work experience if it is possible to come into school at the start of the session (9.30am) they will be seen first but if they are not able to make this session they will be sent for again at a later date.

Parents still need to fill in and return the form (attached to the letter issued earlier this week) to K.Kirman at Johnson office by Friday 5th Feb.

RE: FUNDING ARRANGEMENTS FOR POST 18 STUDY

I write to draw your attention to the funding arrangements for students applying for courses commencing in 2010 and beyond.  Applications for funding is now centralised and not handled at Local Authority level.

Enterprise Challenge Day - YEAR 10

All year 10 students will be taking part in an Enterprise Challenge day run by an organisation called ‘Bright Futures’ on Wednesday 3rd February. The day is designed to develop skills in young people that increase their employability skills such as creativity, problem solving, communication and team working. We know programmes like this really help students focus. We also know that this experience will ultimately improve their awareness and allow them to learn new skills in a fun and practical way.
