Mathematics is popular and successful from Key Stage 3 through to our thriving, successful Sixth Form. The appointed teacher will also have the opportunity over time to teach A level Mathematics and A level Further Mathematics in addition to GCSE Mathematics.

Approximately half of our students successfully complete triple science at GCSE with a high uptake for Chemistry at A-level. You will join a strong, experienced team of teachers as part of a thriving science department with excellent opportunities for further growth and development.

As a teacher you will teach Science across the age and ability range and specialise in Chemistry at Key Stage 4 and 5. We are looking for a teacher with infectious enthusiasm, excellent communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents. Casual Cover Supervisor

This post will suit someone who has the flexibility to work on a casual basis and at short notice. Duties will include the supervision of whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher, with guidance from the relevant subject department.  This will include the implementation of programmes of work, the management of student behaviour and assisting students in relevant activities in line with the school’s policies and procedures.  The successful candidate may also be required to assist with the supervision of students out of lesson times, including before and after school and at lunch times.  The salary scale is the Local Authority’s Grade 5 (£17169-£19238) pro rata.
