We are seeking to appoint reliable, flexible Lunch Time Supervisors to work within a friendly, supportive and well established team. Duties to include supervising students during lunchtimes in the dining areas and surrounding school grounds both inside and out. Applicants should be able to relate well to children, young adults and staff, act responsibly and be able to keep calm and respond quickly to situations.

Casual Cover Supervisor

Contract type:             Casual

This post will suit someone who has the flexibility to work on a casual basis and at short notice. Duties will include the supervision of whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher, with guidance from the relevant subject department.  This will include the implementation of programmes of work, the management of student behaviour and assisting students in relevant activities in line with the school’s policies and procedures.  The successful candidate may also be required to assist with the supervision of students out of lesson times, including before and after school and at lunch times.  The salary scale is the Local Authority’s Grade 5 (£17,419-£19,430) pro rata.

Design Technology Technician

We have a post available from April for a part-time, term-time only Design Technology Technician working 21 hours per week in a successful and highly supportive department. Duties include preparation of materials, processing student work using CNC machinery, assisting with the development of resources, assisting teaching staff with the demonstration of practical lessons, oversight of specialist teaching areas, routine administration, tool maintenance and safety procedures. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a methodical approach and an eye for detail.

The Salary Scale is the Local Authority’s Grade 3 £15,613 – £16,491 per annum (pro rata, pay award pending). Actual starting salary will be in the region of £7,662 – £8,092 per annum dependent upon experience.

Senior Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced practitioner to co-ordinate a team of teaching assistants as part of a highly effective learning support team. The successful candidate will be confident in delivering targeted support to students with SEND to maximise their progress and will currently be working in an educational setting. The capacity to support students in mathematics would be an advantage.

Excellent interpersonal skills are essential alongside the ability to communicate professionally and clearly with all stakeholders. The post holder will also work alongside the SENCO to provide training, support and development opportunities in line with departmental and whole school priorities.

The Salary Scale is the Local Authority’s Grade 6 £19,430 – £21,962 per annum (pay award pending) dependent upon experience.
