German Year 10 Visit to Language School in Cologne, July 2008

In July 2008 a group of Year 10 Germanists went to the Fremdsprachenforum in Cologne for 4 days ; we attended  lessons in the mornings to work on the topics for the GCSE speaking test.  In the afternoons we saw some of the sights of Cologne, including the zoo, with the amazing meercats and the cathedral, which allegedly contains the bones of the three wise men, but no meercats, and a boat trip along the Rhine – calm water, blue sky, but, sadly, no meercats . We also found the time for a Spagettieis. Or two .... At first we didn’t believe Mr Kingston that they really existed, but they were AWESOME!!
